Deer Lake Outdoor Center

Get your hands dirty while helping care for Deer Lake Outdoor Center!

During each volunteer workday we tackle a few projects, such as maintaining trails, painting buildings, clearing brush, installing docks on our waterfronts, or processing firewood to heat cabins, allowing you to pick a project that sounds interesting to you.

We will meet at Halliwell Training Center at 8:30am to share coffee and light snacks and to learn about the work projects for the day. Lunch will be served and we'll finish by 4:00pm. Can't make it for the whole day? No problem! Late arrivals and early departures are more than welcome. Please bring refillable water bottles and dress for the weather. Boots, long pants, and work gloves are recommended.

This event is open to all ages but is best suited to teens and adults. Younger children are welcome with close adult supervision.
